Everything here is rooted in close reading and conversation. Pick a text, show up, and think hard.
One-on-one sessions on individual Platonic dialogues. You pick the text; we read it together and do philosophy the way it was meant to be done — as conversation.
Group and individual seminars on the Iliad and the Odyssey — the two books that started Western literature. More depth than any survey course.
Ongoing one-on-one sessions where we set the agenda together. Think of it as having your own personal professor — one who actually wants to hear what you think.
Drop-in sessions to ask questions, get reading guidance, or talk through whatever you're working on. No agenda required.
Read with others. Group seminars on the Iliad, the Odyssey, and other Great Books — scheduled sessions where the conversation is the point.
The Soulstead — a free community for readers, thinkers, and people who want to talk about real things. Come see what's going on.
